The Well Campaign: Building Hope, One Recovery at a Time

Tamassee is excited to announce the next phase of The Well Campaign, an initiative transforming lives and strengthening recovery across our campus. This phase focuses on two major projects: the renovation of the upper level of Pouch Cottage and the restoration of Joy Cottage bathrooms. Together, these efforts will expand our ability to serve mothers and children in recovery as they rebuild their futures.

The Starlight Center at Pouch Cottage
Through donor generosity, the lower level of Pouch Cottage has already been renovated into classrooms for our Early Learning Center. The next step is transforming the upper level into The Starlight Center, a dedicated space for mothers and children in recovery. The center will provide private counseling rooms, group therapy spaces, staff offices, and welcoming interview areas for mothers seeking acceptance into the Starlight program.

Joy Cottage
Earlier phases of The Well Campaign renovated three on-campus homes—Hope, Faith, and Grace Cottages that are being used as homes for mothers and children. The next project is Joy Cottage, which will receive six newly renovated private bathrooms and be transformed into transitional housing for Stage 4 moms in the Starlight program. At this stage, mothers are completing intensive recovery and preparing for independence. Joy Cottage will give them a safe and supportive environment as they launch careers, continue their education, secure off-campus housing, and continue building stable lives for their children.

How You Can Help
Each updated space represents an investment in dignity, independence, and hope. Naming opportunities are available for both Joy Cottage and the Starlight Center, providing a lasting way to honor families, churches, foundations, or organizations while creating generational change for those that need it most.

Living Water Donors help underwrite the day to day costs of running the program such as staffing, housing, food, education, activities, and more.  Major and significant donors to the Well Campaign will be recognized on the Living Water Donor Wall – a lasting testament to your generosity, the success of the campaign, and the love of God for families.

Jacob’s Well Donors support renovations at Tamassee’s cottages to make them welcoming homes for the families served.  For interior spaces, your special gift will be recognized through an interior wall sign/plaque in or near the room of your selection.  Endowed gifts for sponsorship of an entire home will be placed on a special sign/plaque on the exterior of the home to recognize this extraordinary gift.
